AN ISLAND OF CONTRASTS
Voorne-Putten is not yet overrun by mass tourism. It is incredibly beautiful here, with wide sandy beaches, unique nature reserves and picturesque villages such as Oudenhoorn, Zwartewaal and Nieuwenhoorn. Historic Brielle and Hellevoetsluis are certainly worth a visit. And with any luck, you'll spot one of the Voorne-Putten 'Big Five' along the way... What's stopping you? Experience Brielle
Brielle, an historic fortress town with one of the best-preserved fortifications in the Netherlands. As far as we are concerned, a must-visit! You'll find more than 400 monuments situated here, all with an indelible history - "on April 1 (1572), Alva lost his Bri(e)l. But there is more: historic buildings, shops, galleries, restaurants, museums, a bustling harbour and access to Lake Briel. Ideal for cycling and hiking from our hotel and only 15 minutes away.
